Hello! It makes me so happy that you have taken the time to read about me! I have a wonderful wife named Brenda and two children. Our daughter Anna lives in South Carolina and our son Justin lives in Alabama. Both our children have families of their own and have given Brenda and me three grandchildren that we love. I grew up in a small town in northwest Mississippi called Greenwood. Greenwood is in an agricultural area much like Albany except everything is really, really flat and much warmer. I went to college at Mississippi State University where I graduated with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. Read more...
I have lived in Gentry County since 1991. We lived on a farm north of McFall for 15 years and then moved to Albany in 2005. I have 2 daughters and one beautiful granddaughter. I love to work in my garden and raise vegetables. I also have many flowers in my yard that are heirloom plants or gifts from others, which brings me joy. “Vegetables are food for the body, but flowers are food for the soul.” I have worked at the McFall Senior Center, Northwest Medical Center, Hy-Vee and Albany School district. All of my jobs have been service oriented and I look forward to helping serve you.
Linda Clifton has been working with the Kids for Christ ministry since its beginning almost 20 years ago and has been the director for over 5 years. Linda is the native of southern Iowa. She has her BA in Education from Graceland University. She taught school for a while in Iowa, then stayed home for a few years to raise her children and then taught second grade in Albany R3 School System until she retired in 2007. Linda was married for 42 years to Denny Clifton who passed away in 2014. She has 3 grown and married children and seven wonderful grandchildren that she refers to as the Magnificent Seven.
